Fuel to Run

I know it sounds silly, but I have gained weight and am at a loss as to why. I am not pregnant! My stomach looks about 8 weeks pregnant. Test is surely negative and to top that it is virtually impossible to be. I am frustrated with the weight gain! I have gained 4 pounds  and can not loose it. Due to running I did increase my food intake, I doubled my caloric intake.  I went from 1200- 1400 calories per day to 1600-1800 per day. So my question is do I live with extra weight or cut back my food? If I don't eat enough I lack the fuel to run. However, it is bugging me a bit. Even my husband and girlfriend Jenny noticed.

Running to Christ

We can all say "I used to", but what matters is what we do now! I have run up to 8 miles and worked out daily. I love to be active, but then I broke my back! Two years ago I broke my back snow sledding and then found out that I have Osteopenia, which is beginning of Osteoperosis. Little to say I have become old before my time. It hurt to get out of bed and it hurt to lay down or sit.  The only thing that got me out of bed was Christ! Through prayers the only answer I got was "run to me." I wanted to physically run, but instead I ran to Christ! It has become such a healing process!  I spent a lot of time focusing on what I used to do versus moving forward. Then God placed Jenny in my life. With her help I can say that I am now running with Christ. Thank you God for giving me the strength both physically and spiritually to run! Thanks Jenny for the motivation and support! Now, I can say  "I am" and focus on the future!

6.25 miles

Four am is early, but worth it! Met jenny at 5 to run our 6 miles! What a great run. We ran 6.25 with a total of 7 miles with our end walk. So excited.
